WHAT IS THE TIMETABLE?

There are different strains of the bacterium that causes the infection.

• a. against group C only (recommended in Germany)
• b. the ACWY vaccine protects against groups A, C, Y and W135
• c. no vaccine protects against Group B

One primary vaccination is done after 12 months in Germany. No booster vaccination is given.
